  3. Check the animation. Select a clip, pause on a pose, scrub the timeline or slow down playback.

Frequently asked questions

Is the FBX viewer free?

Yes. Viewing files does not require an account, subscription or blenDojo credits.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Selected FBX and texture files are opened locally in your browser. This viewer does not upload them or fetch external texture URLs.

Can I view animated FBX files?

Yes. The viewer supports skeletal animation clips and morph-target animations supported by its FBX importer. Files with no animation can still be inspected as static 3D models.

Why are textures missing?

Embedded PNG, JPEG and other supported textures load with the model. If the FBX refers to separate images, select its PNG, JPG, WebP, BMP or TGA files as well. You can add them after opening the FBX. Some proprietary materials and image formats are not supported.

Which FBX files can I open?

Use binary FBX 6.4 or newer, or ASCII FBX 7 or newer. The file limit is 100 MB, with up to 250 MB of FBX and textures combined. Complex scenes may exceed your device’s graphics limits. Cameras, lights and proprietary shader settings from the file are not reproduced; use the viewer’s scene lighting.
